Our Offerings

Holistic Orcharding

  • To yield bountiful and fruitful crops, as well as to ensure the health and productivity of most fruit trees, regular and routine maintenance is essential.

  • Our comprehensive orcharding services encompass the management of existing orchards, the establishment of individual tree and home orchard plantings, as well as expert pruning techniques.

  • We offer new orchard installations that are well-equipped to assist you in starting a new apple orchard.

  • We can help you assess your soil and site conditions, select the most suitable apple varieties for your needs, lay out a well-planned new orchard, or expertly prune an older one to revive it and bring it back to its previous levels of productivity.

Additionally, our orchard management practices include:

  • Compost Tea Treatments

  • Integrated Pest Management through careful foliar sprays, and the promotion of overall tree health by removing any dying, diseased, or dead wood.

  • For young trees, performing structural pruning is an important and vital step to ensure the tree is set up for long-term success and growth.

Native pollinator meadows

A great way to reduce your yearly maintenance cost and provide essential habitat and food sources to the local ecology is replacing the grass with native meadow species and returning our lawns into the Meadows that provide so much abundance to the local ecology then traditional flower beds or lawns

Establishing a native pollinator meadow on your property has a plethora of benefits. Increased biodiversity supports local insect populations, who play a vital role in pollination and as a primary food source for many of our local fauna. supporting your local ecosystem, creating a beautiful meadow of perennial wildflowers and reducing the amount of mowing and management, and can provide grazing opportunities for livestock

Garden Beds

We build in-ground and raised garden beds and provide ongoing maintenance, mulching, and planting. Raised beds can be made to any size using untreated hemlock or cedar timbers. They help with easy access, prevent erosion, and create a solid barrier, making them a great choice for adding plants. All beds include healthy organic soil, local mulch, and an optional inoculation with edible mushroom species.

The gardens we install include

  • Raised beds of any size

  • In ground no-till

  • Medicinal herbs

  • Vegetable beds

  • Perennial native wildflowers

Tree Care

Our care for orchards began with our love of trees

  • Trees of any size that need to be pruned back for their overall health or removed due to disease, damage, or concerns regarding the safety of nearby structures are no problem for our skilled crew, which boasts 10 years of combined experience in tree care.

  • We can efficiently remove the wood or expertly process it into firewood, which can then be neatly stacked on your property for your convenience.

  • Sustainable forestry isn't just about conserving resources; it’s about innovating how we interact with our environment.

  • Through responsible timber sales, you can leverage your land’s intrinsic value, earning revenue while maintaining ecological balance.

  • Beyond timber, consider the value of non-timber products such as mushrooms, herbs, or even eco-tourism.

  • With the right management plan, your property could become a sustainable resource that keeps giving back.

Permaculture Food Forest Installations

Imagine a thriving ecosystem right in your backyard, where fruit-bearing trees, shrubs, herbs, and vegetables work in harmony to create a sustainable food source. Food forests are the epitome of innovative agriculture, combining permaculture principles with the beauty of a woodland.

By transforming your landscape into a food forest, you're not just growing food—you're cultivating resilience. These systems promote biodiversity, improve soil health, and reduce the need for chemical inputs. In a time when climate change and food security concerns loom large, food forests provide a proactive solution.

Investing in a food forest means investing in your future. You'll enjoy fresh, organic produce right from your property, reducing your carbon footprint and promoting a healthier lifestyle. It’s a chance to reconnect with nature, share the bounty with your community, and teach the next generation the importance of sustainable practices.
